Swapping out active poll table for something different

As we moved the active polls table to magazine last week or so, I'm going to replace it with the more active posts that are less that 2 weeks old. As I don't know how the databases will hold up, the first version will sort based on the # of comments (later it will be the number of commentors). Hopefully, this will help people to more easily find the buzz on the site.

I *might* later add a way to view the most recently commented posts (but a new commentor) so we can see which are the posts that are getting the most post action.

Tell me your top 5 things to fix in blogs? We have about 15 changes being worked on related to performance of other parts of the site (a big redesign of the backend of the friends network and groups - should be faster and more useful).

 As you might have read, I had to push out some other features, bug fixes, etc early tonight. I might have introduced a few new bugs especially on how posts show up based on level and ownership (was working on ways to simplify how blog counts are done). I think I got it right but you never know. Will keep an eye on things tonight.

 I wish they would swap oyt "People who like this blog, also like ... "
It makes no sense and I don't endorse they other blogs on there ... maybe have it where one can choose the blogs in that catagory.

Ah - that list comes from people's watched lists... means those are the blogs that people who "watch" your blog also "watch". Maybe I'll add an option for you to remove it

 I so want to become a paid member so I can enjoy more features. However, everytime I think I am ready to pay, something happens. Example, I was wiped out of the database, told me that I have to answer questions, then told me I was not approved yet, incorrect password when it was correct, etc.

I do have to say, that each time I had a problem, I emailed and you tech team fixed the problem. But sometimes I am locked out for a few days.

Yeah, I have had that several times happen to me too. I thought at first I would be 'smart' and click on the forgot password thing and it would email me the same password I was just using, which I tried several times and it still didnt work, but a couple of times that it happened when you fill out the forgot password thing it will give you a message saying that your account could not be restored. Its happened to me several times over the past 3 years. But they could always restore my account when emailed right away about it.

They work on when you add them with a comment but not on "blog post"
