Its about time

That I got myself busy and added something here. I have been so busy lately, my finally came home from Iraq. YEAHHHHH. So much to do, people to see, and places to go. I am not sure how long he will be home for this time, but I sure am going to enjoy every minute that I have before the Army snatches him away again.

I am a member of a few groups, been a member of a few groups I left for various reasons. Usually it was either the person or persons within the groups that I had no inclination to waste my time on going over and over petty squabbles and ego searching and self ego boosting efforts. No grand dramatic departure, no grand declarations of my departure, just a silent removal of myself from that spot. To each his own, that just was not my own. One day I was there, the next I was not.

I always sit and chuckle at the persons, mods and others, that portray themselves as "self sacrificing" for their group or groups. At the drop of a hat they fling their hand to their forehead and in a saddened voice filled with drama inform the group that they are "leaving" yes, "leaving for good never to return" The site, group has taken it's toll on their emotional state and for the sake of their own sanity they need to step down and pass the baton of authority to the next in line.

All members flock to the fore to bemoan the tragic loss of such a magnificent leader, how would they ever go on, one wonders. Consolations and memories abound of all the good the person has done and contributed.

Poof gone, at least for a week or so while I personally believe they sit in the sidelines with another name and watch his/her ego getting stroked. When they have received enough adulation, like Easter Sunday, there is a miraculous resurrection of the person, they return humbled, but healed ready to resume the helm of their domain. Welcomed back with open arms and hearts by those who had priorly bemoaned the leaving. Unfortunately, those same people who do this it becomes a never ending loop of happening over and over, like Ground Hog day movie. Like how many times can you LEAVE FOR GOOD?

Some view themselves as being the voice or conscience of this site, which again is totally laughable. They view their self as being the only one on this site ready and willing to take on the front office or any hapless member here and will challenge them by drowning them in volumes of words in their effort to point out their own brilliance. Standing tall, or as tall as they believe they are in their own minds, they challenge anyone to prove them wrong for they honestly are so brilliant they are fearless and cannot wait to prove that either. Just ask them they will tell you so.

You can read posts from said persons in many realms on this site, and without fail, you will read the following sentence, after a long diatribe of moaning wails of how they were treated, or mistreated, or quoted or misquoted, insulted and never apologized to, which they heartily believe they are entitled to, inspite of the fact that they themself are guilty of the exact infraction they are wailing about was inflicted upon them. Here is the quote.

"well, it really isn't important and does not matter"

Now those of you out there that have NEVER read that quote raise your hands, I won't be able to count them I am sure as there will be that many raised up.

My question is IF it is NOT IMPORTANT why the hell did you find it necessary to post an entire diatribe, in glorious description to the world? Obviously IT DID MATTER. Did you figure if you regaled the world with the dastardly offenses committed against your magnificent self, then followed it up with that, it would generate more sympathy to your plight?

In my case it makes me laugh and realize that if I were the person who committed the alleged infractions then I really DID get to your weak spot, thanks for letting me know how effective I was.

Sigh, well, I need to get some things done, but before I tackle my chores I need to check out the sea gulls flying around they are such messy birds, they even manage to crap in your hair sometimes, ewwww messy isn't it. Maybe I will blog about them and their infractions on us mere mortals.

Amused Lady.

Lol WD40 you are so funny, amazing isn't it how the windbags screech like little girls, then finish with.

Well, it really didn't matter and isn't important anyway.

DUHH why the heck write volumes to equal War and Peace then say that?

Quoting Ladywithatti2d: "I always sit and chuckle at the persons, mods and others, that portray themselves as "self sacrificing" for their group or groups. Now pulling this Sara Bernheart act yet again...and whining about posts in groups disappearing...
