Sorry for your loss. As you may recall my step-son died suddenly in July, and the puppy he brought to us had to be put down EXACTLY two weeks later (she was 16.5). So YEAH, let's get to 2021!! Wow... That, is something I can relate to, on so many levels. We lost our sound and lights guy a few years ago. Perhaps not quite the same thing, but it hit me. I believe there's no way to understand things like this. Is there? I feel what you mean. I know you will cherish the good times with him. The good times is ALL we'll remember. This year will be one that a lot of us want to forget. I have lost a friend that I had worked with and a family friend from my parents. Unfortunately the shadow of death can come at any time. So rejoice in your memories and raise a glass with other band members that remain.

My deepest condolences for your loss. It’s never an easy thing. Losing someone or something that mattered to you I lost a distant relative to covid nearly two months ago. She lived a long life and there was some comfort in that fact. The other major loss I endured was my 11 year old pup that had diabetes passed away in February.
