Did you have any suspicions that joisygirl wrote my blog post on April Fools’ Day? I am shocked and stunned by that deceitful posting!! Complete violation of my trust in your blog!!! (a bit of belated April fools there ) Would you tell your friend if you found out that he or she is being cheated on? That is a tough one, I am not sure if I would or should

I didn't know joisygirl wrote that blog. And whether or not I'd tell a friend about a cheating partner, I think it'd depend on the circumstances. As for your other secret ... Tsk tsk ... That's a big secret to keep ...

I can't say I suspected you had a ghost writer on your last post. Tough one, telling a friend they are being cheated on. A lot of factors would come into play on that. Find pleasure in giving pleasure

I agree secrets are relative..... To time. At the time, the secret is important but as time goes by...the secret becomes less a priority. Thanks for sharing! “Life is available only in the present moment.” Thich Nhat Hanh Come and read my blog! Become a watcher! veryfunnycple64

The pair of you had me completely fooled.....well done!!! I would have to think long and hard before telling a friend they were being cheated on. It's a tough call....I would be more likely to tell the cheater that I knew and leave it up to them to either stop or come clean. ~~Anais Nin~~

Nope. I was clueless about the ghostwriting. Good one! One space or two spaces? ... I too was taught 'two spaces after a period'. All of my early writing is done that way. ... But then I learned about the controversy. I liked many of the arguments for one space. . So I changed. Sort of. I still use two spaces often, but in writing solid paragraphs (which I am doing less of these days) I use one. .. My writing is starting to be a lot less "formal". Telling a friend about someone cheating? That's a tough one. .. It might not be for the best, but I'd have trouble keeping my mouth shut. Read my diary Journal of a Taxi Driver for taxi stories and pictures of flowers and trees.

Did you have any suspicions that joisygirl wrote my blog post on April Fools’ Day? Both of you had me fooled! Would you tell your friend if you found out that he or she is being cheated on? That's a tough one... I guess, I might depending on circumstances. But what I'd most definitely do is that I'd let the cheating party know that I know. You secret is safe here. "How dare you"!!!! Now, every time you have a long post, I'll think she wrote it!

I guess I was fooled, but then again I seem to remember some controversy a while back about this same subject and I am not sure if either of you really are who you claim to be Maybe you are both fictions of kzoo's mind. If someone ghost writes a post in the same style as the blogger then does it really matter who actually wrote it as it will be consistent with their original writings anyway if done well? Who picked the subject is what I want to know? To tell or not to tell? Depends so much on the situation doesn't it. Vive La Difference

Did you have any suspicions that joisygirl wrote my blog post on April Fools’ Day? Nope! You both had me fooled. You're also right- NOBODY write longer posts than Joisygirl! Would you tell your friend if you found out that he or she is being cheated on? Ummm. It kind of depends, don't it? If she was cheating with me, probably not. If she refused to have sex with me, but fucked another guy instead, hell yes I'd rat the slut out! Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

This was an fun adventure, penning your post. But you have given me a complex about my rambling and two spaces after a period, which is what I was taught in typing class. Yes you do always have some of the most shocking images. I'm not buying that rubbish about the size of your, well your, um, oh you know. I told everyone the truth in my blog today. I hope I have rubbed off on you in a good way Hugh! Become a member now and get a free tote bag.

Very fun! Crap, now I have more blog posts to read and I was trying to get caught up on "secrets". Friend: Would you tell someone if you saw their girl cheating on them? Me: Heck yeah! Friend: I saw "Blank's" girl with two guys. Me: (True story)

I do not read very often English or American blogs. So I cannot answer to your fundamental question. And by the way, this for me a key reason to enjoy the virtual symposiums: opportunities to travel all around the world. However, I did not imagine that the topic of this symposium would lead to poo and pee. Thanks for this post.

What a great exercise for you and Joisygirl! Writing in someone else's voice can, as you found out, give insight into their style, and by contrast yours. I often use the term pathologies -- not in the sense of traits that are destructive, but rather in the more general sense of hallmarks -- to describe every writer's idiosyncrasies. Being aware of 'em makes one a more conscientious writer... and, most likely, a better writer. I am going to have to go back to your April posts and reread both offerings! Perhaps you could edit this to include links to both pieces? As for informing a friend about a cheating partner... that's really a no-win situation, and there's a hell of a lot of "it depends" that enters into it. Are you closer with one partner than another? Are you, as the bearer of bad news, going to be victim of the "kill the messenger" syndrome? If you choose instead to confront the cheating partner, will you strain the relationship with that person? Tough stuff, man. Whole lotta "it depends" there. Stop in, read, and offer comments at my "swinging as seen in the media" blog, "Confessions of a Lifestyle Man" humorlife, which is also the home of the monthly virtual symposium.
